Summary:
Tractor Central - your premiere John Deere dealer in Northwest Wisconsin, is hiring a qualified Service Manager at our Westby location.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ Years in Service Department operations
- Familiar with standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing
- Knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all service operations within the dealership and ensure customer satisfaction
- Schedule & assign jobs to department employees according to their skills and knowledge
- Assist with the development and training of service personnel, and complete performance reviews
- Communicate, enforce, and monitor department processes to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales/profit goals
- Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
- Manage recruitment and staffing needs for the service department
- Other duties as necessary, and as assigned
